You should book your child seat(s) in advance, and there is usually a per day charge for use of the seat. We cannnot pre-reserve infant seats or booster seats, but you can check availability at time of pick-up. Check out the Canada Safety Council for more information about child restraints.

All drivers must present a full Driver's License issued by your country of residence. A Provisional, Graduated or Learner license is not acceptable. The license, held for a minimum of one year, must be valid at the time of rental and remain valid throughout the rental period.
If your driver's license is not in English or French, you should bring with you an International Driving Permit (IDP). What does "Damage Waiver Included" mean?
In Canada, rental prices include full Third Party Liability cover and, at most locations, limited coverage for loss or damage to the rental vehicle with a CAD 300.00 deductible/excess (CAD 500.00 for drivers aged 21 to 24). It is not possible to exclude this Damage Waiver coverage from our program. Our Damage Waiver Included prices are often significantly cheaper than other companies' prices without this coverage. In Newfoundland, you also have a Damage Waiver Excluded pricing option. If you choose this option, you are responsible for making good on any loss or damage to the rental car. Worst case is you can be responsible for the full replacement cost of the vehicle. We don't recommend this option unless you have car rental loss/damage coverage on your personal auto insurance or through a premium credit card. You may be asked to provide proof of coverage... please take with you a copy of your auto insurance policy or credit card program.

A.11. Do you offer long-term rentals... over 30 days?
Yes. We welcome long term rentals. The rental agency will require you to return to their office at the end of each twenty eight day period to close off the current rental contract and sign a new one. This is also an opportunity to ensure the vehicle is running smoothly and not scheduled for maintenance.

C.1. How do I know where to collect my car?
While building your reservation, click on 'What's Included' for information about the supplier and pick-up point. At the end of your booking, view and print your "Confirmation/Itinerary". We also send you an email Confirmation/Itinerary which recaps all the details of your car rental booking. We include specific instructions on where to report to pick-up your car. This message also includes additional contact information and telephone numbers for the rental agency location. For airport rentals, almost all of our suppliers are "in-terminal" and have a desk in the airport arrivals area. In a few cases, your email will instruct you to board the rental agency's shuttle bus for transfer to their rental facility.

When you arrive at the rental agency, you will need to identify yourself by name to match up with your reservation, and meet the rental agency's minimum criteria for age (21 in most cases), driver's license (valid and held for a minimum of one year) and credit (major credit card - Amex, Diners, Mastercard or Visa - in your name).

When you drop off the car, this authorized amount is released and replaced by the actual amount of your rental charges.
